Windchill is the underlying platform enabling the PLM process. On top of this you can have different modules like, PDMLink, MPMLink, PartsLink and supplier management and so on. PDMLink provides you with core data management capabilities like CAD data management, document management. Remember PDM is a sub-set of PLM.
