Hi All,
Trying pass the attribute value on EPM Doc which comes from CAD file on a WTPart.
First : Is it possible to pass attribute value from EPM to WTPart without customization.
Second : Tried for Alias attribute, however the mapping goes from WTPart to EPM Doc.
Any references would be of great help.
Regards.

Hi,
The easiest way is to have the same attribute internal name for the EPM Doc and the WT Part. Windchill automatically maps them and hence propogate from EPM Document to WTPart.
Now, From the CAD file to EPM Document mapping is achieved in the Type and Attribute manager, there is a entry for each Attribute on the EPM document ,to which CAD attribute it has to read and store the value (Possible to specify CAD Authoring application-wise).
Its a 2 step process
Step 1 : Get the CAD Attribute propagated to EPM Document
Step 2: Get the EPM document propagated to WTPart.
Alternative method is also indicated by the other gentleman here.
Cheers
Hari
