I am trying to add a centerline to a part that I am making a drawing of.
The center line is easy enough to sketch... but oh no CREO doesnt actually "attach" the sketched line to the part / model.
This means if in ANY way the model changes the view might move around but the sketched line wont which creates ANY dimensions using that line now completely wrong.
How can I constrain the sketched centerline TO the part so if the part changes size / moves / Any change is actually reflected in the drawing??
Its basically pointless having the centerline not attached so no idea why it isnt by default. Its like CREO is literally from the 1960's with its drafting functionality.
Hi,
Creo is 3D system, because of that 2D sketching does not work as you expect.
Option 1.]
Create axis in part and display it in drawing.
Option 2.]
Create centerline in drawing, select centerline, press RMB, use Relate to View from context menu and select view.
