Creo 1.0 - Creo 2.0 Upgrade License Server?

We currently have WF4 - Creo 1.0 installed and running and need to get
Creo 2.0 going. Usually, but not always, a new version means an upgrade
to the license server. This doc:

We are currently running FlexNet 10.8. To add support for Creo 2.0, I simply replaced the relevant sections in the existing license.dat file with the new sections from a new license file (with the license service stopped of course). No issues whatsoever.

Doug, I guess I read it the same way as your IT guy. So I Started looking for FlexNET 11.+ for Sun Solaris from PTC - there is NONE. PTC TC confirmed that you do not need to upgrade from FlexNET 10.8 - just swap the license file. It worked.

Just to chime in with everyone else. No need to upgrade the license server software, just change out the license file. Works for me, no problems.

I was able to do a simple file swap from WF4 to Creo2.
Opened LMTools, stopped the server, read the new file, started the server,
All OK.
Doesn't get much easier than that.

Good Luck

Simply updating the license file worked for us.

All the best,
