Creo 3 Bug?

Morning All

We have moved to Creo 3 M090 and I have found that opening a drawing created in Wildfire 5 the datum planes I have created for my GD&T on a sectioned part do not appear.

They exist in the model tree and can be selected but they only highlight on other views of the part in the drawing not the sectioned part!

The only way to get round this is to go to the model, delete the plane and re-create it. Anybody else get this or is there a new switch to set in the config.pro?

Many Thanks

Hi Phil,

I had a similar issue with another customer recently, that I filed a but for.  The developer resolved it with the following explanation:

The gtol is not shown because it is placed on, with the leader, to an xsec edge, and xsec edges don't exist unless the xsec is active.  Presuming this is unintended, pick the GD&T in the tree, RMB>Properties, Place Gtol, and pick a better edge.  As it is, the gtol can be shown in the xsec view, but will not appear in the no-xsec solid mode.

Hope this helps.

Amit
