Cutout/Merge Operation in Creo Parametric 2.0

Hi all,

I trying to subtract two solids in assembly but the cutout option is not highlighting, I am attaching Picture for reference, any one please help me to sort out this issuecreo.PNG

I believe that requires the advanced assembly option (or whatever it's called these days). Do you have that?

"Merge" and "Cut Out" menu entries, under "Component Operations" in Creo Parametric are available, when:

  • config.pro option default_ext_ref_scope is set to all or subassembly
    • To allow external references to components
  • License feature Pro/Assembly or Advanced_Assembly_Set is available
  • Components, used for cut out or merge, contain solid geometry
