DATE FORMAT

DATE FORMAT

On our borders we used to have (In Creo 2.0) the format set to DD-MM-YY, but now in Creo 3.0 it switched around to MM-DD-YY. Is there a way to change this format so that it is DD-MM-YY or even DD-MM-YYYY?

It depends on whether this value is coming from Windchill or from the &todays_date note.  One of these two config options should take care of the issue:

  • date_type_parameter_format %yyyy-%mm-%dd
  • todays_date_note_format %mm-%dd-%yy

Both can be adjusted to the syntax you want.

It was the todays_date_note_format... weird thing is that it was already set to %mm-%dd-%yy, but setting it to %dd-%mm-%yy achieved the desired effect.

We have no idea what is the underlying issue since the upgrade, but atleast now it is fixed.

Thanks!
