Delete or not show solid lines across a part

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to Creo so here goes. I have an assembly of a pipe and an end cap. Whenever I import my assembly into drawing mode it shows the end cap with multiple solid lines across the part not only on the outer edges. How do I cancel these lines and only show the outer edges of the part and the hidden lines?

I'm guessing your drawing view is showing tangent lines.

Right click on the view, go to properties, view display, set tangent edges to None.
