Designated parameters
If I have designated some parameters in creo, will it directly flow to windchill? I mean simply designating parameter will store it into windchill or something else also should be done into windchill?
Another question is that we cannot upload parameters to windchill if it is not designated.. is it true ??

A designated parameter will only transfer to Windchill if a corresponding attribute with the same name is defined in Windchill first. Yes, the parameters must be designated to transfer. If a parameter is not designated, the value will not be visible in Windchill. If a parameter is designated in Creo but undefined in Windchill, a warning will be thrown during upload, but you won't be prevented from checking in. Again, the value will not be visible in Windchill.
