Difference b/w Model check interactive and Model check regenerative?

Please some one explain me the difference b/w Model check interactive and Model check regenerative

Interactive is manually triggered by the user.

Regenerative is triggered by a regen of your part/assembly.

We have ModelCheck set to run when a file is Checked In to Windchill.
