Hi Martin,

I had already tried this. But it is correct that when you import the step file the annotations become symbols?

What I want to do is to have in the step file, physically, only the value and position of the notes, not all the points of the text transformed onto line.

See "#NNN = ANNOTATION_PLANE" section "CARTESIAN_POINT" in the step file, just open with NOTEPAD.

Many thanks for your time.

Greetings Luca.

Hi,

it looks like Creo exports annotations as graphical representations. See https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS193762 document.

I suggest you contact PTC Support and ask them the same question.

Hi,

maybe video available in https://community.ptc.com/t5/3D-Part-Assembly-Design/STEP-file-does-not-contain-annotations-that-exist-in-Creo/m-p/786255 discussion explains you what to do.
