I recommend using the "flat pattern" feature as opposed to "unbend". It
is automatically always the last feature.

Hi Paul,

The creation of a flat pattern is essentially serving this function.
Pro/E automatically creates a family table with the “unbend” feature
as the last feature in the model tree. The flat instance has the unbend
turned on and the formed instance has it turned off.
Add both instances to the drawing, but be careful as to
whether or not you want to add a flat pattern to a drawing.
Flat patterns are for friends only. You can’t inspect them, and
outside sheet metal shops often blame their mistakes on them.
That means you could be forced to pay for parts that don’t fit.

Best regards,

I think the suggestion is to create a “Flat State” that automates the creation of the family table instance.
In WF3 select Edit, Setup, Sheetmetal, Flat State.
This will create a special unbend feature that has the properties of a flat pattern feature (always last in the model tree).
