How to create 2D sketch based on a 3D part?

Hi guys I am very new to Creo, how can I import a 3D part and build 2D sketch based on it ? Thanks guys

Hi Yat,

Depending on what you are trying to do, you can create a Sketch feature and use the Project command to create a sketch using the edges of the 3D model.

You can find additional information in the Help Center.  The information is located under:

File > Help > Creo Parametric Help

Creo Parametric > Part Modeling > Sketcher > Creating Sketcher Geometry > Creating Geometry from Model Edges
