Importing IGES from Form-Z

All-

When I import IGES/IGS files from Form-Z users, Proe crashes every time.
Does anybody know changes to make to Form-Z export settings to fix this
problem? Or another fix (besides asking a Solidworks user to change the
file to STP)?

Thanks,
Matt

Just an idea...

When saving as IGES or STEP, the original file location info is also
saved in the file.

I have had issues with both regarding Windows directory names that Pro-E
can't parse. (quotes, spaces, etc...)

AFAIK, you can edit the line(s) in IGES or STEP with the file info to
show only the file name

IGES info is on lines 2-4

STEP info is on lines 5-6

I've done this in AP203 (part) STEP files myself, but not IGES.

Use a good editor like Notepad ++, or similar and not Wordpad, etc... to
preserve formatting.
