Hi

if you want to learn how to make a family table you can find it in Learning exchange

http://learningexchange.ptc.com/tutorial/461/creating-a-family-table

it is in creo

If you are working in lower versions like WF5 or WF4

then the option is in Tools>Family Table

Else everything is similar

Hi Gomathi...

What do you mean by Master assembly? In top down design, you're simply starting with an assembly in Pro/ENGINEER. Typically you'd next add a skeleton to that assembly. You'll use the skeleton to control references and, ideally, communicate design intent down into the individual parts and subassemblies that make up your assembly.

To can add a skeleton to any assembly using Insert->Component and selecting the Skeleton radio button in Assembly mode. While a full lesson on top-down design isn't possible in such a limited space, we can certainly answer any questions you have with the process and point you in the right direction for more information.

Mr. Mahanta has been so kind as to link to the PTC Learning Exchange. This is a good source of video tutorials... although there are others out there, too. If you have specific questions, many people here on PTC Community will help by either addressing your questions directly or pointing you to additional information.

Thanks and good luck!

-Brian
