ModelCHECK, ModelUPDATE assigning material files from the library

Within ModelCHECK with ModelUPDATE enabled is there a way to have MATERIAL_INFO look within the root materials directory and the sub-directories within the root, for the .mtl file the user is trying to assign with ModelCHECK?

Hi,

I'm not shure about what to accomplish exactly, but you can set up ModelCHECK to check against a list of allowed material file names in the MCS files (MATERIAL_NAME ....) . Then if ModelUPDATE is enabled and no material file is assigned to a model, it seems that it does automatically assign the first material file that is on the list / or the first file in whatever sort order.... to the model.

greetings
