There is always more to learn in Creo.

The equation from curve is definitely simpler than the techniques involving multiple sweeps (e.g. spring.prt.1.zip by gkrishna )  but it does result in slightly different (more curvy?) geometry?

Not sure whether one or the other is more "physically correct"
