Anyone using the combination of RSD + PRO/PIPING + ISOGEN for plant design?
Does this combination have any chance to compete with PDMS and other specific software?
I'm from a PTC VAR and we have lots of opportunities for that, but I need to know if we can surpass the competition.

I don't know about PDMS, but I can say that RSD in and of itself, is pretty clunky. We dropped it and went back to AutoCAD for P&ID's. We use Spec Driven piping and EFX for our skid mounted piping designs. For plant design.. I guess I can't say. me experience is that RSD is OK for cabling and wiring... but sorely lacking in it's uses for P&ID's and piping.
