Remove Scale from Detail View

Greetings,

Something I should know for sure by now. But.....maybe just never had the need to do this?

I have a detail view. It is Detail A. It comes with it's detail scale:

Detail A

Scale: 1/1

I would like to NOT have the Scale: 1/1 at all. But I do want the parametric "Detail A".

I tried to back space it out. No Go. I tried to erase and make a new Text using the syntax for "Detail A". No good.

Is this do-able?

I just select that part of the text and change the font size to something really small.

Oh MY...LOL. I did not even think of that. Is it right? Is it wrong? Ha. Tx!

Wayne,

I am not able to do it either. But I did find that if you highlight the text, and change the text height to .001, it accomplishes the same thing.

Ha ha...your the second one to say that. Tx!

It appears that you can select the note for the detail view -- and just delete or erase it... then add your own note and relate it.

The big draw back - there is no way to display the &view_name in your new note... Creo will reject that.

SO - if your view name is not going to change.. (like ever) - then you can possibly do that.

View scale would still be controlled by the view properties dialog.
