When I make a broken view of something, I notice that the lines don't extend past the edges nor across the whole part.
This is what I see.
I want something similar to what I see when i am still in mid-command, like this:
Is there a way to get the lines to extend to atleast the whole exploded view?
The lines will only show for parts of the view that actually are cutting through geometry. It looks (can't tell from the view you give) like you are cutting across three separate bodies, and that's what you are getting in the view. I don't know of a setting that lets you make the section line visible in the broken view.
Yes, it is 3 separate plates that form a sandwich-type of structure. What I wound up doing is faking in a sketcher line and relating it to the view. But I was really looking for a proper way of doing things.
