Solidworks drawings are not a supported import type in Creo.

Export the file to DXF or IGES.

Ok ty buddy

I can open Solidworks files in Creo 3.

Select "Open" in the "Type" dropdown and there are two choices: .SLDPRT and .SLDASM which are Solidworks part and assembly files, respectively.

You can also go with iges or dxf as stated earlier which are pretty universal.

The request was specifically solidworks drawings.

Oh right, I thought he wanted to import a model. Your suggestions are right on.

Optionally, if one just wants to exchange drawings to read, PDFs are fantastic. Small file size and easy to share. We do that a lot here in our office.
