What is flat hole

I know about through and blind hole. What does mean by flat hole in Creo?

In requirement document I received. I am actually into Creo Automation team using Toolkit. Not sure what is flat hole.

Maybe a hole with a flat bottom, instead of a drill point. Produced by using an end mill to clean out the material left by the drill point. Useful on thin material where you need to bottom tap the hole for thread engagement but can't have a thru hole.

It is probably the default hole style selection.

But that is just a guess.
