&todays_date not showing date in drawing sheet

i am trying to add &todays_date in drawing sheet but the date is not showing instead of it shows only &todays_date

If you are in the format (.frm) file, it only shows the code.

If you are in a drawing, it should show the date as expected.

i did it as you did in drawing file mode it shows only date and year. the month is not showing what to do?

Edit the note and just add a space after it or just hit enter.

As a side note, "specified" is spelled wrong.
