"agntsrvc.exe is missing"

Woke up this morning to the following message on the server.

'Could not start the OracleOSIA_ORAAgent service on the Local Computer.'

We cannot log into Intralink. Coincedent or not, Windows did a mandatory restart after loading a securtiy patch (KB972260) last night. Other updates since last restart that did not auto restart were KB961371, KB973346 & KB971633.

We are running:

Intralink 3.4 M062

Wildfire 4.0

Anybody seen this before?

Did you look up the Windows update patch on Microsoft's web site? There times that update patches to Windows will block services and ports to your server. This also applies to anti-virus software as well. I had a laptop one time unable to access the network due to an update.
