Help a newbie setup creo interface , layer tab , line thickness

Hi, hope someone could help me how to set up config.pro file or any other way I could sole my issue with Creo interface.
My first problem is how to setup Layer tab width on creo startup or when open new work file , ( as every time minimizes for every new part file ) ( see attached image )
Second problem I need help with is how to setup line thickness? I would need a less thick selected line, and more thick general lines in 3D model , as this lines are so thin and barely visible on 4K monitors ( see attached )
Thank you in advance! Stefan

You have not disclosed what version of Creo you are using which affects the possible solutions/answers. Did you search the knowledge base at PTC support for information?

Assuming you are using a more recent version of Creo then you need to use customization.ui files to "save and load" the model tree as you want. You can at any time save UI customizations to a file that if loaded when Creo restarts will keep the saved settings.

.ui files quick reference data: Article - CS37185 - Quick Reference and customization of the user interface in Creo Parametric

Overview of the .ui files administration: Article - CS288341 - Information about customization.ui files and their loading preference at application startup for Creo Parametric

I have no experience using Creo with 4K displays but there is information related to this from PTC.

Thank you for fast reply. I was in creo 10 , now in 11.
I have modified template files for new parts, and they have remembered tree tabs and width on left side, and that layer column is on right side of screen aka interface ( tho every time width of layer column is default , cant find a way to save custom width )
I was trying to create and load tree file, but that leads me to loading new tree file for every new part to make a custom width...
As for the edits of line thickness in interface , I was going trough suggestions but couldn't find anything regarding this specific customization.

I was hoping that there is a setting in options or somewhere where I could chose line thickness...
Or that there is a user here on platform who did this kind of interface edits for them so i could be quick do this and that.

Hi SM_12865087,
regarding the layer tab, even I, when evaluating the transition from Creo 9 to Creo 11, am not appreciating its behavior.
I am still looking for a way to customize its size.
In my case it seems that at each transition from one window to another, the height of the layer tab is always reset to half the height of the left column.
In practice the height of the left column is exactly divided in half between the layer tab and the model tree.
Personally I do not like this behavior, in Creo 9.0.8.0 I do not have this problem.
Personally, this anomaly is added to the list of anomalies for which I have not yet switched to Creo 11.

Regarding the line thickness of the highlights, if you haven't seen it, I point you to my old topic:
https://community.ptc.com/t5/Creo-Parametric-Ideas/Add-a-config-option-to-come-back-to-the-highlighting-with-thin/idi-p/751985

and my old proposal as an idea for implementing the program, which however has recently been archived.

Maybe you can propose a new idea again to be able to manage the thickness of the highlighted lines, maybe it will be more successful.
If you think it's appropriate, mention my old idea.

Thank you for your reply, In your first topic, it seems no one solved it ?
I am unable to open second link.
From what I have understood , you are using both model tree column and layer column on the left side of interface , that is defaulting to half, horisontaly?
In my case I am having layer column on right side of interface and with every new file it is defaulting the width of layer column that is the thinner that I have made it.
Only thing I have managed to achieve in config file that I load in every new project or file that layer tree exists at all.
...
As for the line thickness both for lines that are not selected or selected and have too big thickness , no luck at all. Still the same issue.
I am trying to find anything in config file , or some config files setups that are shared online, but still no success at all.

Once again thank you for your time and support. Hope we will solve it at the end.

No, I haven't found a solution yet.
I think I made a mistake with the links, I'll post them again:
