New install question

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening.

I've purchased and installed Creo 3.0. I've also purchased Creo N/C complete machining.

Is there a good quick start manual explaining which directory the config.pro should be placed and is there suggested settings for standard

modeling and manufacturing?

I should have copied a config.pro from a previous employer.

Thank you,

Jay.

Jay, the config.pro lives in the folder where Creo starts in.

Below is the default install shortcut.  Change the start-in location, and that is where you can keep your config.pro.

You can also load it after the fact.  Just know that some options have to be initiated during Creo boot.

It is always a good exercise to review your config files to know what it in them.

Organizations tend to get upset if you "borrow" their assets.

Thanks Antonius.

Your right about borrowing assets.

Jay.
