Issue with Free Trial of Mathcad Prime

I have to use Mathcad prime for my engineering course and since it I cannot purchase it right now I have been using the 30 day trial. So once I started the 30 days I thought it would be fine for 30 days, but for whatever reason the trial period disappears after a couple days or a couple hours, putting me back in mathcad express. My work-around for a couple days was to reacquire the license through the licensing wizard. None of my friends have had this issue, and I have now 'run out of free trials' even though I would be halfway through my actual 30 day free trial.

The Community is made up of other PTC customers who have agreed to assists with issues where we can.

Licensing is something we cannot help with. You will need to contact the MathCAD licensing group at PTC.

Mathcad/Prime licenses are tied to the MAC address of your PC. If that changes (between a network card and a WiFi connection for example) you might get into the situation where the license is not valid. You get an error and you apply for another license. After a certain amount of license requests you run out. That's what may have happened to you.

Follow Ben's advice.

Success!
