Mathcad Prime wont open/run on computer

Hello,

I am a student who uses PTC Mathcad Prime 11.0 for my coursework; however, starting today, the program will no longer open/run. I have tried restarting, uninstalling, and all the basic troubleshooting. After hours, I am at a loss, and this is the only way I could find to contact any sort of customer support at this time. Everything else implies some invalid product codes or says I need a support plan. I have purchased Mathcad Prime and have been using it normally for almost a month, so I am wondering what all this is about. If you need any specific info, please let me know.

Try to run Mathcad as an administrator.

Check if there has been any anti virus updates on your PC that may be blocking mathcad or try some of https://community.ptc.com/t5/Mathcad-Installation/MathCad-won-t-start/td-p/775820

Try the following:

  • 1. Create a backup (or just archive) of the config file (in this directory: C:\Users\CurrentUser\AppData\Local\PTC\).
  • 2. Delete the current config file (in this directory: C:\Users\CurrentUser\AppData\Local\PTC\).
  • 3. Run Mathcad Prime again.
