Prime 4 license

I wanted to install Mathcad Prime 4 to my new pc.
The license manager accepted my product key but I can't chose the product for the license.

I have already looked into that guide, but it doesn't solve my problem.

I have also tried contacting support but it only directed me to this community or it wanted me to upgrade my account.

Which I can't do since i never got a costumer number.

So either the support button I'm looking for is like really obvious and I'm too dumb to spot it or it in the 7th submenu.

Whatever it is can you send me a link?

Support for all Mathcad versions up to and including Mathcad Prime 6 has ended more than 2 years ago. Only if you have an indefinite license (as opposed to a yearly subscription license) do you stand a chance to get help from PTC to install any of those unsupported versions on a new/different PC. You have to get in contact with PTC support for that.

Success!

I have an indefinite license, i now managed to properly install mathcad.

But it still doesn't accept my key.

My current understanding of this is, that the problem comes from the Host-ID which I need to update to my new pc.

I know that I can't do that on my own but as I said the support website won't let me contact costumer support.

Thanks for your help, but all it says is:

"The trial program you are requesting is no longer available. Please visit the software product page on www.ptc.com to explore our latest versions."

This comes after I select Prime 4, enter my product key and press "Next".

Read this announcement for details - "Official PTC Mathcad 15 and Prime 1–6 End-of-Sale Announcement": https://community.ptc.com/t5/Mathcad-Tips/Official-PTC-Mathcad-15-and-Prime-1-6-End-of-Sale-Announcement/ta-p/818870

I did.

It says:

"PTC will continue to provide technical support access, phone assistance and expert input for versions of Mathcad that have reached end-of-sale. PTC will not be able to issue new licenses or provide access to software downloads for end-of-sale versions."

I have the installation files.

I have an existing license.

I just need a new Host ID.
