Compare Feature

hello.

'compare' feature seems pretty nice but i clicked on something and only one of the sheets remained with no options to get the other one back. so that means i have to wait another five minutes to get them loaded. HELP - what could i have done to make it come back?

If I have visited 12 work sheets in succession, then click on [Menu], [Windows], 9 of them are there on the click, 3 more on [More windows], i.e: 0 minute, 0 seconds to wait.

The Compare feature is in Mathcad 14 only.

Did you browse for each file in the separate compare windows?

I searched and do not see any issues logged for the problem you describe.

Make sure the files you are comparing are both Mathcad 14 files. I'm not sure if it works on older Mathcad files.

Sorry, in Mathcad 12/13 too as one utility.

My "compare worksheets" displays a blank screen. The worksheets are not displayed. All I get is the report of "Different:", "In left file only" and "In right file only". Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a simple solution?
Thanks,
Jay

Jay,

I have not heard of this problem previously. Do you have the latest release of Mathcad 14? If you are a single user, you can install M020 from http://www.ptc.com/support/mathcad_downloads.htm.

I can reproduce this. Both windows have a scrollbar on the bottom. If you click on the scrollbar on the bottom of the RH window you suddenly get only one window.

I also do not have any scrollbar on the right of either window, and the scrollbar on the bottom has no arrow on the RHS.

I'm not seeing scroll-bars, so I'll log this if it's not already logged.
