Hi,
I'm new to mathcad and can't seem to use an old file to the new Prime 8.0. Can anyone please help me convert the file so that I can run it in the prime? Or any online converter that I can use?
Solved! Go to Solution.
You should be able to do it yourself. Prime 8 includes a buil-in converter for real Mathcad files, but you have to actively check an appropriate checkbox during installation as otherwise the converter is not installed. You may run the installer once again to add the converter.
Find attached the converted sheet anyway.
EDIT: A moderator removed the file as per request of the OP.
Haven't looked at the converted sheet but as Primes plotting capabilities are very poor, you probably have to edit the plots, manually change the axis limits and scaling, etc. I attach a screenshot of the Mathcad file to help doing so.
Nonetheless you have luck that the sheet contains only very basic calculations and features. Otherwise the converter is very easy subject to fail and you would have a lot more of manual work to do to make the file work (if ever). After all Prime is still mediocre and missing a lot of features we were used from real Mathcad,
