Converting .mcd to .mcdx with PTC Mathcad Express

I have downloaded the trial version of PTC Mathcad Prime and want to review how the current version of the software compares with my previous use of older Mathcad versions.  I have a file from Mathcad 11 in .mcd format, and when I try to use the PTC Mathcad Prime 10.0 1.0 XMCD, MCD converter, it does not convert to the new software format.  The converter says license is not found.  Is this type of file conversion available in the trial version of Prime?  I no longer have the old version of mathcad on my current computer.

Conversion of legacy Mathcad files seems to be considered a premium feature and is not available in Express mode.

When you install the trial it runs in full mode for 30 days and during this time you should also have been allowed to use the converter if you checked the appropriate box during installation).

If you have a specific file you want to be converted, you may post it here and someone may be willing to do the conversion for you.

If you don't use the latest release of Prime you must state so.

Werner_E,

Many thanks for your reply.

If someone would be willing to convert this attached file which is a legacy Mathcad .mcd file from circa 2007, to a current PTC Mathcad Prime file, it would be much appreciated.  I will play that kindness forward.  Thanks in advance. All the best.

Here is the file converted for Prime 10.

It uses just basic calculations and fortunately it uses the if-function and not the programmed if-statement (programming is considered a premium feature and is not available in Express mode) and so should work OK in Prime Express.

The Prime sheet may need some reformatting, though.

The error in the definition of variable SUG (variable I not yet defined) is already present in the original sheet but has no impact as its not used in the calculation. Maybe it should just be a reference and rather read SUG:="I" or SUG = I (using a boolean equal).

Many thanks for this.
