File, Save As doesn't retain old file name

File, Save As doesn't retain old file name

I imported a M14 file and tried to save it as MP1b. Surprised not to find the old filename there for me to modify.

Have you found a way to delete objects, other than using the non-obvious "delete-region" button? Particularly for images and plots.

Might I suggest that we not hijack one comment for another subject 😉 It would be easier to track subjects, I think, were we to start a new thread for each subject.

Eden,

You need to select a region to delete it. Some users during usability testing had a hard time selecting plots and some regions, rather than activating them, so we added the delete region button. We are also working on making it easier and more obvious to select a region.

I finally got there, but the difference between selection and activation is quite subtle. There were way more ways of deleting stuff before.

Apparently CTRL+D still works across the board.
