All three files beginning with EMD_...

Thanks Werner. It seems that this needs an extra function "EMD Extrema.xmcd" which is not included in the link above.

Additionally you would have to rename the file(s) replacing the underline by a space and load the two data files "gsta.dat" and "Temp 7 Reconstructions-briffa.txt" from the link I posted to get it to work.

The function "extrema" has a vector as parameter and returns a nx2 matrix, possibly index and max value!? Not sure if absolute maxima or relative.
