I think it should be +y(x) not -y(x) inside the root, and you should have either F=1 cm or y(F) = 0 m. In addition, the derivative is not well-behaved when y = 0 (solve the expression for y'(x) and you'll get x-x on the bottom for y = 0) ... I've cheated a bit to get the solution, but there must be a proper way to do it!.
