How to Create a Math CAD Reference sheet

Hi,

I made a separate Math CAD sheet where I have wrote a function

Now I am trying to insert this sheet into my main calculation sheet as Insert--------> Reference

So that I can recall that function

But it is not working.

Any ideas!

Hello Randeep,

actually it is quite easy.

1. save youre source sheet, the one with the function, you'd like to reuse at some convenient place. It has to be a function i.e.; it needs to have the form f(x):=... as you did in you frunction Circle(i,D,z)=
2. in you target sheet, the one that likes to reuse the function, click "Reference..." in the >Insert< menu. A dialog box opens.
3. Click the "Browse" button and navigate to your source sheet. Click ok.
   • Avoid the "Use relative path for reference" as you need to ensure a certain storage structure.

You're done. The target sheet calls up the source sheet function and all variables on it.
