How to plot a differencial equation

How can I generate the vector field of a differential equation, for ex: y=x^2/(1-y^2) or y=(3x^2+4x+2)/2(y-1), both y and x run from -4 to 4 on their respective axes? All I know is how to solve the equations, but I'd like to be able to sketch the graph as well. Thanks for your help.

There are several examples in the collaboratory. Try searching for slope plot or vector field plot.
