I am trying to open a worksheet created circa 2003, the file extension is MCD. However Prime does not seem able to open it. I was able to open these files with 15, which I now no longer have access to. Any suggestions?

In addition to everything said earlier, you can download the latest service release of Mathcad 15 here: http://www.ptc.com/product/mathcad/free-trial/thank-you
Hi,
Mathcad Prime is not able to open MCD files. If you own commercial license of Mathcad Prime then you can download and install Mathcad 15.0.

Thanks for your help. You were quite right and it is now sorted.
Hi Howard,
if you can access to it with M15,
you could proceed in this way: first open the old file with M15 and then save it . Then run Prime and convert it according to the following indication:
otherwise, if you can't acces to the file, and if you haven't deleted it, disable "Automatic Calculation" an try to open it.

FM
Dear F.M.
Thanks for this help. It was correct I needed to reinstall Ver 15 which then allowed me to perform the actions you suggested. I have saved the files using the file convert and I have taken copies as PDF so at least we have a permanent record. Thanks for the help. Howard
If file content is shareable, people on this site can/will translate your file. Be sure to specify which version of Prime you need; each version of Prime cannot be read by previous versions.

Thanks for you help. This has now worked. Using the suggestion from FM I can now view all the files I need. Thanks Howard
You're welcome.
This is a dead link. Is there one that works now?
Unfortunately it looks like PTC is effectively hiding Mathcad 15 from view. Seems they are not offering the 30-day evaluation version anymore.
Wie can only guess why they are doing so.
Maybe its just "Hide the better for the worse to look better" ?
EDIT: Looks like
http://download.ptc.com/products/mathcad/trial/mc15/Mathcad15_EN.zip
still works for downloading Mathcad 15.
Give ist a try.
