MathCad V15 Will Not Install on Win XP PRO SP3

Hello All,

I have been a MathCAD user since 1992 (with version 3.1 !).

Recently I purchased V15 and attempted to install it on my Windows XP Pro SP3 machine.

I have made the following changes to my system per the installation instructions/errors.

1) Update windows installer 3.1 V2

2) Installed DotNet Framework 3.5 SP1

After rebooting several times between changes the MathCAD installation program insists it cannot complete the install.

It claims that it cannot find the dot Net framework. So I installed it again and rebooted.

Has anyone got a work around for this problem?

My version 3.1 works just fine on the same system - the only issue is an incompadability between old and new format BMP files for inserting images into a MathCAD file.

Mathcad 15 uses .Net 3.5 or later. Check that you have .Net 3.5 installed.

You also need:

MSXML 4.0 SP2 Parser and SDK (this exact version of MSXML is required) and

Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 2.8 or later
