Hi,
I'm just started with mathcad 14.0
When I Plot XY I have to reverse the Y scale. Eg. from 7,000 to 20,000 to 7,000 to 20,000 (so it's poiting south . . .) .
While Plotting reverse Y scale:
when i go to Formating and select in Traces: points the actual plotted data dissapears. Under Formatting / Traces Line (and other options) will work, except points.
When the Scale is NOT reversed, all points are shown as per normal.
This is driving me crazy ... I have only few days left for the assignment and I need to show each point 😕
pls advise
thanks.
points selected under Trace
works on 'normal' scale.
Hello,
Your pictures is not visible.
HI Mike,
It may be a bug in MathCad.
I've tried in 15 & it seems to behave the same way that you describe, see attached.
Changing value of 'a' from 30 to -30 swaps the points displayed from 1 graph to the other.
Sorry I can't be more help.
Regards
Andy
PS: if you post a representative sheet it makes it much easier to see the problem & there may be work-arounds that a little lateral thinking sometimes produce.
