I've been using Mathcad Prime 4.0 daily for a few months, just a few days ago the program stopped starting up.
When I run the program, the green splash screen comes up, but a few seconds later it disappears and the Mathcad icon disappears from my taskbar. I'm running Windows 7.
I have looked through other threads where fixes have been reported (like this one and this one) but nothing works. I've removed the config file, tried reinstalling, and tried running as an administrator.

2. Try to install the latest version of .NET Framework: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/search/result.aspx?q=.NET+Framework

Thanks for your suggestions, I've had a case open with PTC support for a few days now (no response) and installed the latest .NET Framework, Prime is still not opening.
