It has been noted that MathCAD14 M035 remains in memory after the program has been closed. This suggests that one needs to reboot to reclaim the memory used by MathCAD, which makes implementation of M035 seem undesirable. PTC offers no solution other than to wait for the next maintenance update. Why not use the WindowsXP Task Manager to end the MathCAD process directly? Is there some reason that this might not be a good idea? Perhaps there are additional processes that would need to be terminated or that could cause problems if MathCAD alone were stopped?
