Its one of Valery's jokes - a mission impossible.
You would have to solve two equations for just one variable - no solutions!
We have 22 time of days (from 00:00:00 to 12:00:00) where minute and hour hand have a 120° angle.
In none of those positions the other angles come close enough to 120° . Closest at 02:54:32.73 and 09:05:27.27 (130,9° and 109,1°).
The answer must be hh:mm:ss.xxxxxx
Why xxxxxx ?
Most common real clocks have only integers for seconds.
Therefore I think more interesting to try to solve the problem for integers, at least for seconds.
