There are many ways, not all equivalent depending upon the function to be converted.
Here is a very difficult one, done well.
You will surely get more specific help from *.XMCD users.

Sorry, Jean does not work in mathcad 14

Thank you very much! Could you please tell me what you mean by *.mxcd users?

Val,

The web collab is a bit coco these days. Most of the days the web collab is down for up to 6 hours at night local time. If I click on your link, it tells "Opps, link is broken". It could be Mathcad 14 does not read grouped definitions, a modified version is attached for the collab. If that modified sheet does not work, then a case to have "Doctor PTC" repair. In fact, repairing Mathcad 14 is equivalent to going back to Mathcad 11.

Thanks Val for your attention.

Up to Mathcad version 11, the extension was *.mcd
above 11, the extension is *.XMCD.
Mathcad does read lower versions but not higher versions.
What that means is that if your sheet is in 14, only 14 will read.
There is a huge community at lower versions.

Now, you have removed your sheet and message, at least I don't see it .

jmG, that wasn't exactly my Budapest algorithm. The Fourier coeffs. may be accessed from the CFFT run automatically and no integrals are involved. Here a hasty re-post with the data you just now supplied with minor correctios. In MC11 from MC14 MO.

Yes Theodore, I have your CFFT and all that. The CFFT extract and reconstruct does work generally up until a project fails and where the Budapest method works. I remember, at some point you were desperate and nearly abandoned the method, I didn't. Your Budapest algorithm will be for ever in my MCADeng collection, nicely credited to you.

Thanks for your attention.
