I am looking for the backbone of a mcad sheet to convert Shock Spectrum Response (SRS) back to a Time history. Does anyone out there know where one can find such thing?
I have found some MathLab script(s) but nothing (so far) in mcad format
Thanks

How are you planning to do that? According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shock_response_spectrum there isn't a unique time history for a given SRS.

that's correct the re-created time history is not unique. There are tools out there that can be used to reconstruct a time history using wavelets (see ref. NASA/TM 2008-215253). I am using one of them. I am simply looking for the possibility of a mcad sheet to do it rather than relying on a 1/3 party tool (it simply means that I can "control" the tool)

Mathcad can do wavelets. If you have a guide you should be able to develop a tool.
1. Please find in attachment "Calculation of shock spectra in Mathcad". There you can find program listing. But the entire document in German.
2. Some useful materials can be found at "Shock Response Spectrum" page: http://vibrationdata.wordpress.com/2012/02/11/shock-response-spectrum/
Thanks VladimirN for the provided info
Do you know of a maathcad source to convert the SRS back into a time history?
