Save Window Pops up

I have some Mathcad files where I have set the autosave to say, 2 min. So every 2 minutes this window pops up with the name of the file, doesn't do it for all files just some (probably a glitch in an earlier Mathcad version). This is irritating and can cause the system to lock up if it occurs at just the right time. I am using Mathcad 15.

Has anyone experienced this problem ?

If so is there a fix for it ?

I have attached file that exhibits the behavior I'm talking about on my computer.

I was having exactly the same problem yesterday and ended up turning it off. Do you really need to have it auto saving every 2 minutes? Why not increase it?

Could you provide a screenshot of this pop-up window?

Unfortunately I cannot replicate the issue. I was working from the server in work and thought that might have been the issue, but I'm not recieving the message now.

Yes, but why does this occur on some files not others and is there a fix for it ?

Very strange. I have just set the Autosave on a new document and I don't see the popup box. Is actually might be a bug. Try saving the file as a separate name and see if the error occurs.

Tried that, if it happens changing the doc name does not help

This does not happen for all files just those that were created during a certain period of time, several years ago with version 11 or 12, don't remember.

I think your on to something there because I was updating an old Mathcad document.

I tried bringing up the issue with PTC but they won't talk to anyone that is not paying them money, even to learn of a problem

Might this behavior be tied to the file name? Your attached file had a name that I would have thought might trip the operating system, C@C and the file length.

It was also happening to me and my filename contained only letters.

I have many files with C@C as part of file name

I didn't think it was the filename, maybe a compatability issue with older worksheets.

Can you provide a screenshot of this window? Because I have set Autosave (2 min) for your file and there are no pop-ups windows.

I opened the same file you have and (wouldn't you know it) the popup does not now appear. Perhaps it is because I saved the file, I don't know. In any case it will happen again and when it does I will send a screen shot.
