Solve Block help

Hej Guys, i am new to Mathcad and not very familar with it i have a worksheet with some functions and no i wanted to use the solveblock to find some solutions for me but i have no idea how i should write it down.

i added  the worksheet with the functions. i have a function with two Variables that where i want to find those two variables when i only know one result of the two out put results that the funcions brings me.

the constraints i have and the expted result i put to the worksheet. maybe someone can give me some advise on how the solveblock need to be set up for a function with two variables?

Kind Regards

Markus

Still not according to the rules. Now you seem to have 4 variables to solve, given the:

And you have only two constraints involving only a single one of the four variables.

(To solve for 4 variables, you need 4 constraints, independent equations).

Here's an example:

I've put the same thing in a sheet for you, see attachment.

do i then need to redefine all equations in the solveblock? cause all of them are within a function and Mathcad is telling me i am not using apropiate constraints?

You need to provide guess values for all variables that you want to solve.

According to the Find function, you are trying to solve Llift and Ltilt, while you provide guess values for HPH and AA. That does not match...

Attach your (modified) worksheet and state which version of Prime you are using.

Hej Luc,

i have changed my sheet and put guess values for l_lift and L_tilt but still says i don't have a valid constraint:

i am running Prime 7 and have attached the updated sheet

Thanks for the reply!

Hej Luc,

thank you so much, that was the eye opener, instead of backward i used the forward function and changed the outputmatrix to give me more results  that i than could use in the solveblock to give me my constraints that i have!

man so glad it worked out, didn't work yesterday but i just woke up and could finish it, i wish you a good slide in to new year 🙂

here's a pic of the changes:

Kind Regards
