Hi,

Capture.JPG

hcol/tweb_col is 85.158 so always > 2.46 so first bracket is always zero so Prime cannot solve equation.

Check the equations?

Cheers

Good that you attached the worksheet, no need to zip it, though.

You should state which version of Prime you are using (8 in your case) to prevent that you get an answer in Prime 9 or 10 (that you cannot open).

Now to the problem.

The part

in your expression is a boolean equation, it essentially asks if the equation is true or false and results in either 0 or 1 (false or true).

Now with:

LucMeekes_1-1742375124080.png

it always returns 0, so the rest of your expression doesn't matter anymore.

The same goes for:

inLucMeekes_3-1742375212266.png

Your symbolic expression:

Assigns the result of

LucMeekes_9-1742375860413.png

to the variable LucMeekes_8-1742375813532.png.

Essentially the part

LucMeekes_10-1742375904617.png

equals zero for any value of Ca (LucMeekes_11-1742376031704.png

orLucMeekes_12-1742376048766.png

should be valid sets for the answer), but Prime refuses to come up with that answer (fortunately?).

Review your equations.

Success!
Luc
