Structural Engineering worksheet

HI,

Does anyone have access to the structural engineering worksheets? I am after a Eurocode Wind load and moment frame example? These are not in the civil sheets and I can not find any to purchase on the site. Any guidance will be appreciated.

Thank you,

Casper

Hi Casper,

Available on PTC website in pdf form only.  Means you need to retype it if suitable for your use..

For moment frame I recommend a commercial software suite or one of the free for 2D frame analysis

STRIAN—Online Structural analysis https://structural-analyser.com/

Free Online Frame Calculator - SkyCiv https://skyciv.com/free-frame-calculator/

Many commercial products

These have model construction, application of member loads, graphing abilities of results, and facility to design to codes far in excess of Prime.

It can be done for simple frames:

Thank you for sharing the moment frame sheet. I will have a look at the online sites.

If you are looking for the Prime or the Mathcad 15 version the Wind Loading worksheet uses ASCE Standard 7-93.

I have both the Prime and Mathcad 15 versions and they both use ACSE Standard 7-93.

There was a previous discussion on the Eurocode version back in 2010. They refer to material from Access Steel.

Thank you. I will have a look to see if I can find the discussion.
