So answer that questions accordingly. What operating system are you using and what flavor (32 bit or 64 bit). Mathcad Prime (and it seems you are talking about that software while you didn't state it) comes in two version (32 and 64 bit) but I think both of them are on the installations CD/DVD you bought. So you will have to decide which version to install, i guess.
